I was at an event today, and an older lady was very excited to tell about her new (2nd hand) Rav4. Was saying it was very fast being turbo and you had to watch out how fast you were going. Asked her if diesel. no. Hmm, stock looking RAV4. Bought yesterday from a dealership near Chch airport. She was told it was turbo. Part of what were were doing involved a check under the bonnet - stock as 2.4L.
Incompetent or Dodgy dealer do you reckon?

Some dealers are too stupid to know themselves. I once looked at a car and the salesman was unable to tell me if it had air conditioning or not!
Sweet lady though, I find Rav4 and Suzuki Swift owners are often like that. I find it especially funny how the Swift owners tell me how much space they have (despite being about worst in class). It's easy to love something when you haven't tried any alternatives.

Probably plenty fast enough for an older lady, even with no turbo.
VVTi, the T stands for turbo and everyone is happy.
