Could be worse watching wheeler dealer last night & had an xk 8 jag with stuffed Throttle position sensor & jag quoted 1300 quid for replacement new 1 had to buy a complete air flow meter I nearly bought 1 of those glad i didnt at their theiving parts prices .

Whoever volunteers to "potter" on the Mk2 will need plenty of time because Jag put 10 x bolts through anything that would need 2 x bolts to hold said part on!

LOL-books allow a good 8 hours ta do handbrake pads on an xj- Those that know can do em in 20 minutes. But ole mk2's never had inboard discs. But truth be known. **potter** Probably means it is a 2.5 daimler automatic and needs the transmission removed.

^^^ ha we did them one night on the jag donk in our old stock car . grinding pads down on fine grindstone good fun fired it up at 4 am & woke the neighbourhood
