wizzbikz, Oct 11, 8:18am
Just priced tyres for my X5 retired now so its just around town these days no Big Ks anymore
Pirelli 285/35/21 front
325/30/21 rear $ 7200
Dunlop same sizes $ 3500
Altenzo ''' ''''' $1680
Anyone used the Altenzo lets have your thoughts,

I had Altenzo Sports Comforters on the back of my V35 Skyline and rate them as quite awful - they’re were quiet enough but do not grip well especially in the wet.

if you want the best tyre at lowest price get jinyu or black lion same company

is that the prise for 4? 2 and 2

CAR TYRES BU66
BLACKLION - CAR TYRES BU66
1976 285/35R21 105Y 650$ for 2
1484 325/30R21 BU66 750$ for 2
total 1400$ +gst
that would be about my price so it definetly should be below 1680 and they are good tyres currently i am testing them already tested the jinyu as top quality. unfortunatly this size only black lion shows as option. and wholseller told ,e blacklion is better. thats what they said not what i have found to be true as i am testing black lion right now.
potentially cheaper . if not fitted etc.

Not in the sizes I want

Having bought a few sets of Michelin Pilot Super Sport over the years I’d be interested to see some empirical testing evidence to back up such a bold claim.

it was a few years ago i think it was winter tyre test micheline jinyu and a other brand it rated about the same as the pilot sport and pirelly p zero i recall. Now i cant remember what jinyu it was it was the start of my research at least 4 or more years ago. The other video i had found also at the same time with the asian guy in the drifter.
could also have been summer tyre wet grip was on paar with pilot sport.

They have done well in a recent test too. Ahead of Toyo Proxis

Good to see thejazzpianoma that you found a new test from 2016 still close to pilot sport and p zero like i remember it. I only resell stuff Who is lowest priced and best quality. Now you cant expect to pay as little as jinyu cost and them out-perform the best tyre but close to it is pritty darn good.

10th in test ahead of two even crappier tyres ain't good in my book. Unusually bad result for Toyo but look at all the better tyres!

I have a thread going re trying a pair of Jinyu tyres on my van, (approx. 40% price of the Handkook's I normally buy).
I was planning on waiting another couple of months untill reporting back but at this stage I can't fault them. Might even try a set of Black Lions on the lovely mrs sr2's "Mazdarbator" 6?
