Any hints? Windscreen

Hoping someone here may have a great tip for me!

I have a 2019 Hyundai Kona (electric - not that that’s relevant) with 15000 kms on clock - so a pretty new car. My problem is the interior windscreen - it fogs up really really badly even with air con on lowest temp and on full. I just about can’t turn the heater on at all because as soon as I do the windscreen fogs up.

I’m assuming there is some sort of film on it that is causing this. Anyone have any great tips for cleaning the interior of your windscreen that leaves it streak free and fog free?

I know, FWP, but it’s really annoying!

the windscreen will only fog up if there is the right combination of moisture in the car and temperature. I would be checking for an internal or external water leak.

as above.
however electric is actually relevant because they typically use fairly small resistance heaters so it can be a problem getting enough heat onto the windscreen. you need to heat the windscreen up.

also make sure its set of fresh air and not recirc.

Yes good tips - thank you.

I would hope it’s not a leak!

you need to make sure you have the heat on window screen only to clear it.
We have the same problem with our new car. Never had that with earlier models. Sister had same problem with her brand new Susuki Swiff.Read your manual and understand the workings of your air condtioner

Check the carpets for wetness. Also if you're getting in with really wet footwear and leaving water on mats etc., this will end up condensed on the screen when the sun/ heater warms the interior. Some stuff on here for you to look at:
