Hi all, new car has a Jap GPS system in it which of course is totally useless to me,am wondering thou if I can hook the disc reader up so that it plays dvdsas it has the typical dvd logo on it also are you able to link it to watch tv as I can pick up the sound but not the picture! any advice appreciated

Yes it can be done these days but it's not as simple as plug and play. Formats of out put and DVD zoning are what you have to get round. If you don't have the smarts and need to pay someone to do the job for you then it would be cheeper to buy a NZ screen and in car DVD unit.
