anyone able to tell me a rough price for doing seals in a injector pump for a nissan terrano 2.7 diesel 93 model thanks

really depends what seals are leaking. You can do some in place and pricing is not to bad. But if its the distribution block gasket it has to be stripped then your talking 500-700 just for the pump to be rekitted and then remove and refitting.

500-700 that cheap!

thats just for the pump rekit. Plus labour to remove and refit. Really depends on what needs to be replaced in the pump. If its shafts and the likes could be alot more.

500 to 700 sounded good ! lol oh well better get it fixed right. im guessing there is no adative you can add to ur diesel to stop leaks in seals, im aware that would be a short term thing , or is that out of the question thanks

ive herd of people using fuel additives not sure if they work and what they are sorry. As you say if they do work its a temp fix.

okay prob give that idea a miss anyway and buying second hand pump probably end up back where i started so have to bite the bullet and get fixed properly

The parts are about a hundred bucks for all the seals, but it may just be a simple to get at O ring that can be done in place. Best to clean it off with a bit of petrol and a hose then start it up and watch where the leak is coming from.
