have got a problem with my c33 laurel i jus got mechanics to do a ecu scan and was algood except the afm was the incorect 1 so got them 2 change my 5 pin afm plug to 3 spade terminals for a series 2 afm.
got it bak pushed them al in the correct order and it wont start unles i pul the signal wire out and as soon as i plug it in it dies or if a change wires around it will only rev to 2500 rpm any ideas thanks

its a rb25det series 1but ive got a series 2 ecu thats why i got the series 2 afm to match and mechanic said it would work !

only reving to 2500 means that it cant detect an afm and will run in limp mode to protect the engine. there are more differences in the wiring than just the afm, like ignitor pack which is on the series 1 but not series 2

i got it 2 run by trying my other s2 computer but its still running rough and not boosting properly or idleing!

uh i dont no what its like with a s1 it came with s2 ecu and i tried my s2 ecu myt jus geta remapd ecu anyway but was wanting to sort problems now
