I have a 92 Toyota Levin.4AGE Motor. The cambelt needs changing as its now on 280ks and I dont know if its ever been done.
Im unsure on what I expect to pay. Also would I need to do the water pump aswell !

yes I would do water pump idlers/seals etc. It's not a difficult engine to do the job on, expect around $600-800 depending where you go.

Yeah, Thats what I thought, maybe up to $420, but 6-8 hundy s a bit steep!

Genuine water pump, 125, gen belt, 46, seals are 15 app, 4 hours tops.

Just got the MX5 done last week and here's a breakdown for you. Water pump, tensioners and seals all in good cond. Cam belt $75.96 Alternater belt $25.51 Pwr steer belt $21.69 Labour 3.5 at $68.69 = $240.42 Freight $8.00 Total $371.58 +GST = $427.31 cheers stevo
