Oil for nisan sentra 1.6!

hi.

what would be a good oil brand/ grade for a 1.6 nissan sentra ga16de engine. done 75 000kms

i was thinking castrol magnatec 10w-40 or castrol edge 5w-30. usually on sale at a good price in supercheap catalogues etc.

What year! If its 1995 on, anything from 5w-30 to 20w-50 with an API rating of SH or better.
Magnatec 10w-40 would be fine.

Got a Pulsar with the QG16DE engine, variable valve timing etc, I chucked on a new filter with the Magnatec oil, and the motor is smooth and really quiet.reckon the Magnatec is good stuff for low mileage motors.and at $30 when on sale at Supercheap its great value.

dont get too thick an oil tho , we are not in the ME
