Plenty of alternatives available for as little as 150 clams each . probably cheaper to fit two locally available tyres than it will be to pursue a matching Yokohama.

Really! In that size!

The non-name imports than Mag and Tyre direct start about there.

Interesting. I did not know that.

Personally, I avoid vehicles with wheels larger than 15" for reasons other than economy anyway. I like the comfort of sidewalls.

Same . as long as they meet a few minimum criteria. I know the limits of my vehicles and myself.

I tend to stick to good quality sports type tyres on the bike tho and just have to bite the bullet on the cost. I presently need a set for the Bandit and am considering the dual compound types as I like a combination of grunting in a straight line and cornering hard, but the straight lining stuffs the middle of the tyres and renders them semi useless ½ way thru their life span. I also tend to be a bit late on the brakes more often than not and find myself still braking into the corner, and that in tandem with me being a heavy counter steerer wears my front tyres into a V shaped profile in very short order, and once that V profile establishes it feels as tho you are either sliding or falling over the edge of the corner at you lean it into the corner. Everything is fine but it is a rather disconcerting sensation. It is more noticeable at lower speeds, at higher speeds it isn??

I just had a little difficulty getting a full matching set for my MR-S. It has different sizes front and rear and I like to fit matched sets. I usually use Bridgestone Potenza??
