Engine treatment.

have cleaned the outer engine in situ. Now sparkling clean but i want to stop metal clips and bolt heads from going rusty.
Any ideas what can I spray on that will protect the ferrous metals, that is not sticky and will help preserveappearance.

You could try spraying them with silicon lube, not sure how long it will last though

A marine grade of crc or other make should do it, repco or supercheap.

Yep & keep it away from any dust.

Hint, Spray the engine bay early evening IN the carshed/ SHUT the doors afterwards & DON'T open for a day or 2 to let the spray dry.
