I ride a hyosung GT650R, seems to have dropped 3rd gear. shifts 1st to 2nd sweet,4th thru to 6th also sweet. Down the box the same. Any ideas!

Drain the oil and see what falls out. Sounds more than just a selector problem

Might be water in the carbie bro. hehehehehehe. Hey Rod, How goes it bud, sorry to hear the beastie is playing up. I too would suspect a selector or selector dowel issue if nothing is in the oil and not making any odd sounds. Unfortunatley it's a major to repair since the motor is a vertical split type. Motor out, barrels off, and split the box to access the gear box. See your dealer for info. I've looked around the net but can't find bugger all on the GT650 engine it self. did that link work i sent you on the Sv650 strip, not the same but at least you knoe what your in for eh.
