i have a 1996 mitsi vr4 it is wining when cruising at 100kmh like a syncro is fucked lol i i checked the transfer case and nothing came out,what oil is the best 2 put in and how much does it hold! thanks

if it's a 2.5 new shape VR-4 the whole center diff and front diff assembly are incorporated as one, whereas on the earlier 2.0 which were made up til 96 had just the transfer case separate. Either way you can just swap on another transfer case, with the 2.5 one being more expensive.

its a 96 gearbox oil is seperate.

yes but both the 2.0 E74A/E84A old shape and the 2.5 EC5A/EC5W were made in 1996. And both have transfer cases separate to the gearbox, it's just in the 2.5's the front diff is also housed in the transfer case too.
