My dirt bike keeps bottoming out every time i land a big jump, i was thinking my suspension was to soft. Not sure any other ideas to what it might be!

Could be your approach to the landing. Downhill, uphill, or flat landing! Front wheel first! Rear wheel first! I tend to get a better landing with the rear wheel hitting the ground first. Takes a bit of the impact out of it.

if every other aspect of how your bike handles is fine i would leave it as is,if you set up the suspension to suit landing jumps then it will adversly affect other areas, jumps are such a small part of riding its not worth setting up for it unless you do mx!

90kg on a pitbike will always bottom. 40kg on an mx will never bottom. need more info.

Check the static sag and dial in more pre-load if required. Increase the compression dampening but make sure you test it for ballance on a good set of whoops first!
