And if the trailer is insured, is the content of the trailer insured as well! PS, I am not trolling about that but just curious about it, cheers.

Depends on your policy,but the trailer is a separate vehicle, and usually must be insured as such.

would agree to this otherwise why would people bother insuring their boats on a separate policy

normally you will find your contents are covered whilst being moved if you are changing houses so long as the trailer/mover is completely legal.eg rest assured most insurance companies will do their best to wriggle out of any extensive claim if they can at the moment so get them to explain ALL policy small print in real terms and get them to send you a copy with a personal guarantee from the person who wrote the policy for you so that they can be fired 10 mins after you lodge your claim

yea all depends on policy ,i would say goods are not covered but trailer is if it is hooked up to car. i have a vintage car I put on the trailer to transport and trailer is covered but vintage car is not.
