I have a "Unit" situated at Riverlands Holiday Park, adjacent to Woodford Glen stock car track.Do you think a stockcar enthusiast would be interested in purchasing this type of property !

someone will buy it, then complain about the noise, like they have at Western Springs and Pukekohe

Yes, and the trouble is they give into these dickheads who do this. What part of having a speedway or F*&K$N huge stadium just over the road would suggest a quite peacefull heighbour hood all the time. What! did they not notice it when they viewed the property, or maybe the real estate agent kept the curtain closed so you couldnt see it. There are sad people out there who this kinda thing. Bit like movin in down the road from an airport or beside a railway line, AWW GEE didnt think a train would pass by at10pm 2am and 5am lol.

Cant understand why they built the Bat Park speedway where they did.It was an open invitation for complaint and there was plenty of that which resulted in all sorts of operating restrictions.

Not forgetting Levin and Bay Park.

Yup and sadly their complaints are listened to.

loosetim. If you change that from speedway park to racetrack then clearly the answrr is a definite yes. Have a look at the home units right alongside Hampton downs raceway.

The pressure came on Bay Park initially due to RE salespeople telling prospective purchasers that Bay Park was closing soon. This was missleading but in part helped the areas developement. Then, when Bay Park was surrounded by houses the land value grew to a level that the Ngati whatever tribe who owned the land (and earlier stated they would never sell) was able to be convinced selling was the way to go. The rest is history as they say.
