Good luck getting a replacement gearbox,every other RVR needs the same thing.

+1, lol you just beat me to it, if anything the number being sought here should be 0800 SENDITTOTHECRUSHER.They're all stuffed and everybody wants the cheapest way out ->expensive 2nd hand gearboxes if you can get them.

yes they are hard to get,the numbers are stamped into the top of the casing, Something like W4A32 then a few numbers, you MUST fit one with exactly the same numbers. Dont be convinced by a wrecker that this is ok and will do the trick. I have seen more than one have to be pulled out again after fitting and finding some small difference.

I didn't have much trouble getting a replacement transmission for my one! only cost $350 from a wrecker including transfer case, and it was a recently rebuilt unit too.
