Hi, My wagon's tailgate rubbers are squeaking annoyingly, seems to be rubbing on the body. What's best to put on the rubber! Would silicone spray help! Cheers.

It will do no harm. Its a quick and simple to try. Would be 1st thing i would do.

Yep, silicone spray. But a decent one like CRC - some of the others are pretty hopeless.

look NOTHING is going to be a spray on FIX. ITs squeaking because it needs to be adjusted correctly. Do that and no more squeak

Get a dry lube stick from Repco or whatever - best poison for rubber meets metal

Thanks for all your suggestions, I didn't want to put something on there that made it worse.I've got some dry lube so I'll start with that.
