Where to buy rubber?

Ideally it would be 50mm diameter and about 10 to 12mm thick.
I have some with little knobs all over both sides, but I don't want the knobs.
A flat sheet would be OK. Para Rubber or anyone else have nothing that thick.
Other suppliers want hundreds of dollars for a few bits of rubber.

50mm diameter threw me for a moment, I gather you meant width. You could try these guys: http://www.rubberbitsnz.com/

I found some synthetic rubber. Hopefully the rats won't eat it like they eat rubber.

Para Rubber in CHCH have sheets 10-12mm thick in different grades . .

Is it pure rubber you are after, asking as some folk think EVA is rubber. Rubber is really heavy, as opposed to eva which comes in various densities, so can be light to somewhat heavy. EVA is often used for camping mats, jandals etc(some even call it jandal rubber).
I would check bunnings mats, as if i recall correctly, they did have large heavy rubber mats.
ps - rubber also usually stinks fairly bad.

Bunnings have green 15mm 1m sq rubber pavers for $38 and black 20mm shockpad underlay 1m sq for $39 and make your own rubber chip may kits for $75

Thanks for the suggestions. The synthetic rubber that I have now used is especially designed for the purpose I am using it for.
