I have a campervan with a fibreglass pop-top, and I want to fit roofracks to that, to transport a kayak around on my travels. There are no "gutters" so conventional type roofracks cannot be fitted. I was thinking of fitting a roof-rail along the length of the van on both sides, to which roofracks can be fitted. Is there anything "easier" than that, that I could do! Any ideas to get my mind ticking appreciated.

given what it is and how you are going to use it --Why not simply permanantly bolt roof rack "feet" to the pop top.
