where in nelson/marlborough/tesman region can i get oxygen for welding - i'd go to boc but im thinking owner bottles will be better, cheers

I dont know, but if you ring Nelson Fire Protection (I get my CO2 refills there) they will be able to tell you. Not sure if they do oxy but they'll know who does - bloody good guys.

Boc dont fill owner bottles in the south island any more they send them to auckland, then you have to wait for them to do it & pay the freight also. then to top it off risk losing your owner bottles. I use southern gas services in rolleston to fill my privately owned cylinders & they are 1/2 the price of boc for gas. I had a d sized oxy cylinder filled at boc & was $60 a couple yrs ago, when i had it refilled at sthn gas recently $32+ gst. Give them a ring they may do nelson area as well
