for my wife. About 2000-2003. Any known problems! I've heard its important to have the Trans oil changed. Also do these have 4 wheel disc brakes or rear drums!

I think the Rav's use drums on the rear,well all the ones I have seen do.

Appreciate the comments.Its my wife's choice between RAV4 and CRV as she likes the 3 door car.But the point about the 2wd is very valid and its probably going to depend on what turns up at the best price. Mind you she was looking at a Jimny so noise and comfort dont seem to be an issue.LOL

ASK how she will feel when gas hits the $3.oo per litre!
Just be ready for that to happen within the next few months (1 yr at the most).
