94 Honda Accord front left brake has started to squeal when driving (not when I brake). Just passed a WOF so could it still be low pads! Recommendations appreciated where to take it to have checked out in ChCh West. Obviously not being screwed and good job is at top of agenda. Thanks in advance

Yes, it could still be low pads because a WoF is a visual inspection only and on some vehicles you cannot see the brake pads without removing things.

May well just be a stone or an old nail trapped between the disc and pad. the OP says is squeeling without the brakes being applied.

I have found Undercar Service Centre to be very good - they are located at 206 Main South Road in Hornby (formerly Brake and Clutch).Just to the west of the big roundabout near Avon City Ford.They specialise in brakes etc so will be able to check it out for you and tell you exactly what the problem is.

I am not sure if the accord has them, but it may be a low brake pad indicator.
