Fuel pump location

Gota mate with 92 Primera 2litre,with fuel starve problem ,replaced fuel filter ,is the efi pump in the plastic fuel tank !thanks for any advice

yes, remove bottom part of the rear seat. there is a metal plate with 3 or 4 small bolts holding it dow with wires going thru it. find it under there

Do you hear the pump prime before you start it.

No cant hearthe pump prime up ,but it runs ok then it starves and goes again.We were going to pull tank out ,but thks for the heads up on the seat!

If it makes a 'tick tick' sound its probably a solenoid sort, their contacts wear out & they stop pumping.
Give it a bash & it sometimes starts up again.

I dunno what your sort your car uses.
