95 3ltr turbo

How much about for one of these!

Would I be better getting the other reconditioned or buying a new fuel pump!

Is this a big job to change, what kind of prices should i expect to pay!

Pros cons!

Thanks in advance

new pump be more then the whole car is worth. The problem is most are rooted or not far from it with the crap diesel fuel we have here. You need to put a fuel additive in the diesel or it will be only a matter of time before the pump craps it self.
2 problems exist 1 seals shrink and then it just leaks and stalls later . or 2 it seezes up due to insufficient lubrication .

Apparently its not pumping diesel through anymore and they are going to recondition it, but they have had it for a week now and when i rang up they said it may be ready by friday so was wondering if it will be easier to just take it(the car) somewhere else and buy a new pump.
When they took it away they said it would be a couple of days at most, now thats turned into 10 days its very frustrating.
