I knowchanging bigends is easy,just not sure about mains,cheers.

Mains could be just as easy, but wouldn't you want to check the crank if your main bearings needed replacing!

I would say if the mains are bad, engine needs to come out for strip down. Gotta remove gearbox any way.

If you can remove the exhaust pipe, sump and oil pick up in place, then yes. I've never done Nissans, but have done a few Toyotas, Hondas and Mitsubishis before.
