is that the class for farmers to use, you cannot go more than 10kms either side of yur farmgate, i think thats correct!

Isnt that where the rego has been put on hold by the owner. I.E cant be driven on public roads

I think it is closer to 30k. Could be wrong, and one could always look up www.nzta.govt.nz But I can't be bothered tonight ;)
But: X - exemption licence when the Vehicle has been exempted from normal road use licence: the expiry of an exemption licence is the date after which the vehicle must be relicensed for normal road use

Not quite. It's 12 months after the last license expiry that registration will lapse on a vehicle subject to continuous licensing. 24 months for others.Exemptions from continuous licences are themselves considered licences. You can put an exemption on within 2 months of the last license expiry without having to pay outstanding license fees.

hold is a free form of registration its why it states arego date you dont pay for the registration and your also not alowed to drive it legally on the road. easy.
