I use Husqevarna oil in my Husqevarna chainsaw, but any good quality oil will be okay. Motul is good.

Just don't buy Valvoline "performance oil for motorbikes", took me ages to rectify the issues that it caused to my RGV. Get fully synthetic stuff, I use something that Castrol makes- http://www.sportsxgear.com/castrol/pr-accessories-castrol-lubricant-oil-2-stroke-power-rs-tts.htm . But I buy it at Super cheap. Haven't really played around or tried different brands, but this seems to do the job well.

The BEST 2-Stroke oil to use is Motul, BUT,Bel-Ray Si-7 is also an excellent injector/pre-mix oil.
Si-7 will really make your scooter stand up and perform. I remember my Dad using it once in his Victa (2-stroke) lawnmower. the thing went like a rocket, and really ripped into anything in it's way. But, then he used it in his chainsaw, and the thing could have cut down a phone poll in about 3 seconds flat. Just awesome.

dunno what brand but a mate bought a scooter & being a big tattooed guy it didnt quite suit so he copped tons of crap, especially when I found bought & sneaked some strawberry scented oil into it. funnily enough it did give a hint of strawberry smell riding along

Don't use outboard oil in an aircooled engine. The oil will not burn properly and WILL create excessive carbon. Use a motorcycle oil in a motorcycle. Outboard oils are designed for outboards only. Try some outboard oil in a weedeater and see how long it'll run before it seizes.

You should never mix mineral and synthetic 2 stroke oils together.

Outboard oil is no good in air cooled2 stroke engines, outboards are water cooled, totally different.

outboards run much much cooler than an air cooled 2stroke and the oils are very different because of that. I woudn't bother pouring expensive oil into a scooter, but I would avoid cheap crap too.Just stick to middle priced stuff and it'll be fine.
