do the doors of a ford fiesta (ghia 2004) lock automatically when driver is in it!sorry if i sound stupid, but my old car would do auto lock, but this one doesn't seem to ( or i just don't know how to do it).Hubby says it won't, and this makes me feel a bit unsafe driving home at night in the city.Thanks in advance.

Why don't you lock them manually if you're concerned!

thanks - i've been playingaround with the central locing on the key, and think i know how to do it - my old car was a 92 honda, so a bit easier to 'understand'.

theres a guy on here who sells the unit, i had 1 fitted to my ford about year or two ago, from memory was about $80 fitted.My original ford keyless was $400 to get genuine part. A nice guy too and opens boot as well
