Hi, I have a mitsubishi delica and it had an oil leak we didn't top up the oil and subsequently seized the engine. It's petrol and we're having difficulty getting a second hand engine for it for less than $2600 does anyone know of any for sale! I'm in Dunedin will consider anywhere in the south island to pick one up or does anyone know of anyone who could recondition the engine or just have a look at it to make sure that it's definately a new engine that we need. TIA.

Blairs In Temuka are really good and reliable. They have a good name and I swear by them. Hes imported a few half cuts for me and some friends of mine. never had an issue.
Take a look there.

*Facepalm*. Even if it did work, you don't wait for the light to come on before topping the oil up.

Facepalm you never rely on the light to tell you a car needs oil, you check it via the dipstick!
