Hi, could any of the Mitsi gurus tell me what would be the best oil to run in a 6G74 that has done 197000 ks.It doesnt smoke (yet!) but does have a constant leak coming out from under the filler cap.Would that be just a stuffedcap seal or does it mean something more serious!

15W40 would be fine. Oil cap seal is a common thing to leak, it goes hard and brittle over time. I would just buy a replacement generic aftermarket cap from Repco/Supercheap ($20) or go to Mitsubishi and buy the rubber gasket seal (which alone may be $20).
