the 4jb1 i9s a good engine used in mu and bighorn etc and can be rebuilt if need be they good motor, also used extensivly in excavators and fork lifts. some have turbo and also intercooler.

Thanks peter. From what I can tell, this one is N/A, so not sure if it would have the power/torque for decent sized loads!

Firm I work for hadone, done 800,000 before it dropped a valve, was all hot running, about 900 k a day, 7 days a week. A great wee truck

good engines, that one is non turbo, may be a bit gutless with a load but otherwise looks ok

Cheers everyone. He bought it in the end for around $11,500. Good wee truck, but yeah a bit gutless.especially when previous vehicle was a 70 series Cruiser. Lol. Will see how it gets on loaded up.
