Compared to an economical car, lets say the suzuki swift which is 0.08325% of the purchase price per 100 urban km the Bentley could be considered 6 times for affordable to run for the people who would buy the corresponding vehicles.

Ugly and not a "fun" car. An open topped (or even closed topped) sports car would be "fun". The latest model Rolls Royce drove past us in Newmarket today. My wife said words to the effect of "yuk, look at that big slug".
