Comes up with mechanism error, Holden want to charge $300-800 to fix. Is there an easier / cheaper way of getting CDs out!

Im not sure about the cd player in the commodore. But most cd players have a small hole in the front. If you poke a rod in it, it should eject the cd.

Just change the radio, $149 for a decent CD-Tuner with aux-in, $69 for a fitting kit, and approx $69 labour and the problem is solved for another 10 years.

If its multdisc changer your farked , I couldnt getmy stuck cartridge out even after taking it apart .Bought another from wreckers
