i have a 2002 v6 ford escape. at idle it is missing on 1 cylinder, the middle one on the front, i have swapped the coil with another, replaced spark plugs, used an old plug and earthed it, away from the engine-good spark, removed the inlet manifold gaskets and replaced them cos they had little crush. still the same, swapeed an injector and checked continuity of the wiring from the injector to the ecu, all good. still missing!, any ideas!

yeah, i think your right, my tester wont fit into the recessed hole. it may have a tight tappet, not sure of the valve and tappet setup, if they are bucket shim under camshaft, will be a mission. it seems to go ok under load
