Great to see Rod Millen celebrate his 60th birthday in style with an invitation race up his driveway. It was on tv3 news last night http://www.3news.co.nz/A-driveway-with-a-difference/tabid/317/articleID/205180/Default.aspx It would have been awesome to be there, if only to see and hear that old Audi Quattro that was there. It looked like there was a great variety of cars competing there.

Sadly I would be picking you are right, specially with the number of trees along the course, there has been a few got by them over the years (Dr Roger springs to mind) Looks lile a bunch of fun.

The good thing 'bout it tho' is he can tell the pc brigade to F OFF. Private driveway on private land and if he doesn't charge any fees to be there there's F all anyone can do 'bout it.
We do a winter series in the forests, anyone that conforms to the club's specs is welcome, or has a manz cage and logbook with appropriate harnesses. Volunteers are also very welcome as courses have become a bit short in recent times. I've got some pearler accidents on film to. I used to be one of the top running 4 cylinder cars with my mr2 but have had no time the last couple seasons.
Very cheap racing and you would be amazed at the times some of the turds can turn out.
