are they known for head gasket problems / looking at one on TM .also how hard is the water pump to do !.

what engine has it got! Neither the GA16 or SR series engines are known for head gasket problems. Difficulty of the water pump on the GA16 depends on access in that area, a real fiddly job in my sentra but with a little more room would be easy. Whats the auction number!

likely an SR20DE, if not properly maintained they can have accelerated wear at the top of the engine due to oil feeders blocking up. I've never done a water pump on an SR20de so cannot comment on how easy it is but it will be driven off an auxiliary belt so shouldn't be too bad.
