is there any reason that a reconed 3.9 engine from an ea couldn't go into an eb2 to replace cooked 4.0! (would want to use 4.0 mpi manifolds and stuff on bare 3.9 engine)

only because of the cfi and the cooling system failures, and maybe build quality. they still do big ks if well looked after. I only ask cause I can get a complete ea with a reconned engine, new exhaust and 4 mint tyres for next to nothing as a donor for my eb2

Hell yes Brothers 92 EB speedo km counter stopped working at 275,000kms & that was 6 years ago. Still going well apart from assorted electrical problems.
