No. Only if all the oil has run out of said "hole" and the engine has continued to run. Then it might be "stuffed"

If the hole was caused by a high-speed impact with an internal part of the engine, for example a con rod, then yes, the engine could probably be technically described as stuffed.

but if , as I've done too, you've notice a couple of ltr of oil has run out from under the vehicle overnight and on closer inspection you find a whopping great gouge alone the sump and it has split open somewhere along it's length, it is safe to assume that as you drove it in last night the engine has actually suffered no damage apart from rock meets sump take the sump off and weld it, or if ali/cast toss it and get another ( not always easy if it is hanging under a 350 cummins, or the second time, part of the bully underframe )
