anyone recommend one , need a brake adjustment foot and hand done, so not a big job but pretty strapped for cash so needs to be cheap.

The one that's closest to your home or work. No point driving 1 hour away to save $5 per hour on labour, is there! Besides, if it's just a brake adjustment (hopefully your diagnosis is correct), it won't take more than 15 minutes to adjust, so it won't exactly cost a fortune.

The brakes can be adjusted in 5 minutes on that car. The wheels don't even need to be taken off, there's a rubber bung in the back of the backing plate, near the top.

if it needs adjustment it has got wear , wear = replacement , not a big job sounds like rear brake overhaul needed

good to know, if i had the skills i would do it,which i dont. possess shame.but if its as easy as you suggest , im guessing it will still be an hours labour as its always part there of these days
