I have a motor that I may list however I have no idea of what it might be worth. My husband had it professionally rebuilt for a project that never eventuated. Any suggestions!

Sorry Coops no suggestions but I had one of those bikes way back in the 80's - was a lot of fun!

there was one on here about a year ago fully rebuilt and they wanted $400 and it never sold, what is the engine number, if it starts with 3u5 it is a 1980 dt175g, thats what it looks like

Hmm I can make out 3H8.

1979!

That's the early model DT175 - the 1972 CT2 was the first with reed valve. Same engine was used in the TY175, and is still current with the AG100. That's an aftermarket cyl head I'd say. The monoshock DT175 is a different engine. I'd love it for one of my projects, but double digits is my max.

Unless you had all the parts to make it run already its worth bugger all.I think $500 would be dreaming but i would like to know how you came up with that price.
