Here is a good one dudes. my mate has the above model 4x4 and the horn will only sound went the engine is stopped and key removed from ignition. It will not sound with engine running or stopped while the key is in the ignition ! Any ideas anyone !

Thats easy, the earth strap for the upper steering column has broken, it straddles the rubber coupling in the engine bay between the upper and lower halves of the column, if it snaps the horn pad can't earth through the column shaft.
