Have just bought one of these we cars for a work hack. Has higher ks on it 2120000. What are they like for reliabilty etc , i dont know much about them. Cheers.

2.12 million kilometres is a lot - probably needs a cambelt by now.

88 will have the mitsi 4g15 motor & gearbox.The manual gearboxes are known to give trouble SO NO SKIDS!

Mitsubishi Lancer / Mirage drivetrain. Good little cars actually, just keep an eye on the oil level. And, as mentioned, go easy on the gearbox.
