Whats the worst bit of driving you have ever seen?

Strewth I see that a lot of times, pity there wasn't a sure fire way to PING ALL of them,interesting I reckon I saw it more often in the North Island .probably more vehicles up there would be a legitimate reason.
Well how about this doozy. Drove down to dunedin from chch today and some muppet coming out of rakaia decides to hold me up at 60-70kms on state highway 1. I pass him and quickly forget about it.
Ten mins later and i notice in my rear view that he is literally inches away from my bumper and looks angry as. He sits on my backside as i pass a couple of trucks on passing lanes and is really intimidating . Im thinking geez he is going to kill me when we hit ashburton and i have to stop at the lights or pull over to call the cops.
We hit ash vegas and he harmlessly makes a right at the very first turn. Even in my relief i was sort of dissappointed in the anti climax

No one instance but I will now always report drivers who overtake on double-yellow lines and including those who do so by going too far on passing lanes.
I am doing another run around the SI when I return to NZ and the hands-free will be at the ready.
So, you Ford and Holden V8 bogans, be warned!

What gang did this gang member belong to ! . You could write them a letter to point out the error of their ways.Was it even as gang member ! or was it just a Harley rider wearing a German style lid and does wearing such a lid make you a gang member.

worst I saw was when they had just opened the Whangarei Bypass, 3km of loose chip 30k limit, I was tailgated all the way by an idiot towing a trailer, 2km in he was flashing his lights at me ( sorry mate its 30, cant you read!) then he pulls out and undertakes in loose chip in a left turn only lane doing well over 30k at the very end of the road works, couldnt wait a few more metres. Was he in that much of a hurry to get to the bach!

There some very inconsiderate losers out there, they probably know theyre dorks so f 'em
I see they didn't handle any better in the rain then than mine does 20 years later. The same thing on auckland motorway seems to make people annoyed, dunno why, if they can do better I'd like to see it.

I think there is a growing tendency for people to misjudge on-coming traffic and pull out.As you say, stupidly and slowly.See in Auckland, now, all the time.

Haven't read the whole thread but has anyone mentioned the tiny trophy wives barely able to handle their SUVs and incompetency increased by their use of a cell phone.We can attest to their incompetence in Eastridge Supermarket and the Kohi Tennis Club.

Texting whilst driving;sunglasses and visor down do not disguise what you are doing.There are also obvious "texting" body positions that provide a further clue.STAY AWAY FROM MY REAR BUMPER CARELESS DRIVER! Mentally changing lanes, i.e. unconsciously drifting towards the lane you are THINKING about making a move to, when I am in that lane!STAY AWAY FROM ME - my horn would make you laugh!

Few years ago old lady in an old bright red honda going around a roundabout, rear door swings open as she goes around almost hitting a cyclist and she continues along the road completely unaware of her open door. elderly drivers freak me out

Drivers, regardless of age, who are inconsiderate, egoistic and ignorant of other road users FREAK ME OUT.
