Help with a personalised plate

amigo_nz, Mar 27, 10:06pm
Need some words of wisdom. I've been out of the country for a while, and am a bit out of touch with things in NZ. I've got a personalised plate 'WSUP' which I'm thinking of selling either on here or on the PP website (although they charge you $100 or thereabouts for the pleasure) as I probably won't be using it again. My problem is I have no idea what it's worth.

Any ideas as to ball-park value for this would be very much appreciated!

Thanks in advance

$300 min as thats the cost of a new plate.I sold my one on trade me, so its do-able.

Put it on Trade me and let the market decide. PP are only worth what someone is willing to pay at the time of sale.Set a realistic reserve and see how it goes. Good luck.

The 'wassup' thing died a long time ago. I doubt you'll get much for it.

yep that's the danger of buying zeitgeist plates.

Be the same issue with 'nekmnt' type plates in a few years

Thanks for the replies. Think I'll have to take a punt and stick it on here for starters. I was just finding it a bit tough deciding on a realistic reserve that dosent give the plate away but alsoput people off.
