It's a good car but with a price tag of $218,926 it's well over priced it's only a Nissan. Yo could buy a new Aston Martin for less not as fast I know but looks just as good.

Saw a R35 GTR eat the Armco at Hampton Downs on Sunday. apparently they DON'T drive themselves ;) They get scarily expensive when you start to track them. brakes, tyres, gearboxes, clutchpacks. it eats them all!
The numbers on them are impressive and on paper and in the real world they offer unparallelled anytime performance. On track though you can't cheat physics, and accelerating, braking and steering 1900kg of car doesn't come easy or cheap.

Wrong. Launching the GTR using the "launch control" (though its not called launch control by nissan) now does not void the warranty as it used to with the 1st R35 gtr's. I cant rem the exact details but the only provision is that the trans is give a slow run for something like one mile after 3 successive launches.

The GTR kicked the arse of 10 other super cars in a drag race.now that's class.see the video.
Maybe compare the GTR with cars of similar performance!DBS, R8, 911 turbo/GT2, SLS etc. Then check the price tags.

On one of the Top Gear tests, the GTR went around a track faster than a Aventador. If you look at how quick, fast and practical a GTR is, its a bargain at that price when compared to other 'supercars'. But lets be honest, cars like Lambos, Ferraris, Astons etc aren't bought because of the performance, they are bought because they are status symbols.
