ok, its overheating and the fan is going ok what could be the problem!( yea im an amateur)

1. How did you check the fan! 2. Year and engine please. 3. Do you know how to check the thermostat! 4. Any water loss!

96petrol,heaps of water loss( it blew the hose off at the top of radiater). I replaced that filled with water , started, fan was going but overheated again

OK, my suggestion is to take the car to a garage and ask them to carry out a TK head check first.
