just will not start. bought it a day ago and went well. battery was dead so jumped it and drove home. refused to start last night, so put battery on charger for night, put battery in, made a click click noise unlocked the door with key and alarm went off, (didnt know it ha one til that moment) anyway key remote flat, so neighbour gone to get battery for it. My question is, if it has an imobiliser, would that stop it from firing! have called dealer bought from and he didnt know there was an alarm. So could that be the problem!

Do the dash lights come on! If its got an alarm in it it might have been set in valet mode or something silly if they had lost the remote, is there an alarm led! Sounds like the alarm might have been reset with the flat battery and the immobiliser is now activated

yeah all the dash lights come on, it tries to turn over but its like it has no gas. just checked and it has a new fuel pump 150 k's ago, it is like the pump is shut down and google just told me that many after market alarms shut down the fuel pump. battery for remote will be here soon, hopefully that ill sort it. it seems that charging the battery and reconnecting it has reactivated the alarm. hope so!
