It sure can be a nice dive when the traffic flows

i found that also on friday and sat after warbirds. But, headed south to te anau yesterday, and it wasn't people holding up traffic, more so how many times people over took on brows of hills, and yellow lines, and corners. I was back a few hundred metres everytimewaiting for something to unfold. what surprised me, the person being overtaken not taking any evasive action to what the plonker overtaking has done, Only once did someone slam on their brakes or head over to the shoulder "just incase" someone is coming the other way. Funny thing is, all of these tossers only ,ade it to their destination or turn off 3 or 4 cars ahead of me.

bloody fluke i tell ya. today and yesterday were the worst displays of driving i have ever seen. Sure i see these reasonably often, but 10 or more times in 200km is ridiculous.

Agreed. I find it's not the 98 km/h on the straights that makes a difference but the 60-70 km/h when it gets the slightest bid windy that really slows things down.

On the other hand the dorks who perform risky overtaking maneuvers a km or so from their turnoff or stop really annoy me.
