I'll buy that for a dollar.
the missus however wouldnt go near it, being English she sees them in a different light, a bit sad, tight-as, old rich man or Mrs Bucket type

Saw one a few years back with asking price $14995Rover P6 3500S at a Dealers could have been McGuiness here in Petone as its a rare beasty even when new.(bit of a sleeper) .as they were English assembled - NZMC assembled only the P6 3500 Automatic many of these were exported to Australia until 1977

Red would be the colour most people like while Tobacco leaf brown probably would not be .:(

The one to really get would be the Rover P6 3500S VIP - this was a special one produced by Rover 1976-1977 to get rid of P6 old stock and was fitted with Rover SD1 seats ; Electric Windows etc I never seen one myself and when documented Rover feature in Practical Classics around 1998 it was mentioned in Rover P6 profile!

Another P6 3500S to get is the pre Honeycomb grill US version that was produced for US market 1968-1971 but not a great sales success i think 2-3 of those are here but are Left Hand Drive -they were well equipped with electric windows and airconditioning quite a few in recent years have found their way to the UK and restored

I have seen this one on TM before!
If it's now repainted and with low miles like you say, I'd personally pay up to 5k for a tidy 3500S. (well, if I had the $$)

Ditto - probably more $$
